AllMyLifeForSale: The Documentary,
11min., 2001
This piece is a portrait of an eccentric friend* who sold everything
he owned on the internet. Aired nationally on National Public Radio's
Weekend
Edition Saturday.
A hard cover
catalogue of the AllMyLifeForSale project was published by Bloomsbury
USA in November 2002.
* The "eccentric friend" is now my husband, but that all
happened after the documentary was completed.

My Home is Far Away,
8 min., 2002
The title
of this work is borrowed from the novelist Dawn Powell, a self-exiled
Midwesterner who lived and wrote in Greenwich Village for much of
her life. The piece is my response, as a self-exiled New Yorker
living in the Midwest, to September 11th. It is comprised of three telephone conversations with
my father, who lives and works within blocks of ground zero, recorded
on October, November and December 11th, 2001.
